Jaguar: Fifty years of speed and style
I have read many car books, but this one really succeeds at telling the story it wants, about all of the products of the Jaguar firm, not just the fancy ones. Good pictures, excellent product information, and even production numbers for most models. -
Jaguar: All the cars
Firstly, the bad news:this book is smaller than most decent size books. If the book were to be published to a larger format this book would be so much better. Having said that, now here's the best news:This book is brilliant! This book is thoroughly researched. It covers everything you want to know on each model, options, colours, and so much more. -
Original Jaguar XK
Phillip Porter is a recognized expert on the Jaguar XK series. His book, suplemented by excellent photos, details each version of the car with text and photos. For anyone restoring an XK series Jaguar, the photos are a rich source of originality information highlighting differences between the various models. This book is well worth purchasing. -
jaguar MK I/II : A celebration of Jaguar's classic sporting saloons
enjoy this book because of it's subject matter, and the photography layout. Combine brilliant, studio style photos of the charismatic Mk1 & Mk2 Jaguar Sedans, add clear, concise text, then sprinkle with some nifty period photos. The result is a very worthwhile addition for any Jaguar enthusiasts' library. The large, detailed color photos (some on the rare Coombe's version, and the Mike Hawthorne replica) are an excellent reference for those restoring a Jaguar, and for scale model builders. The concise text gives a good overview of the cars development and production, also racing and custom road versions. -

A recent addition to my Jaguar book collection. This book covers just about everything any XJ40 owner and enthusiast will love. And it even covers the 6.0 V12 models. This book fits the "Complete Companion" series of books.I love the section that includes modified cars. This is the best book on the XJ40 model Jaguars.I hope the auhor Nigel Thorley writes an equivalent book on the X300 models that followed the XJ40. I highly recommend this book -
